Delete your Law At Ease account

This page explains how users of the Law At Ease app and lawatease.com, operated by LAE Vidhi Parishad LLP, can request deletion of their account and associated data.

How to request deletion

1. In the app: open the menu, go to My profile and tap “Delete my account” at the bottom. It opens the form below with your details filled in.
2. On this page: fill in the form below.
3. By email: write to [email protected] from your registered email address with the subject “Account deletion request”, including your registered name and phone number.

We will verify your request and delete your account within 30 days. You’ll receive a confirmation email once it’s done.

What we delete

Your profile (name, email, phone number, address), login credentials, uploaded documents, questionnaire responses, and app activity data.

What we keep, and for how long

Invoices and payment transaction records, retained for 8 years as required under Indian tax and accounting laws. Records we are legally required to keep for disputes or regulatory requests are held only as long as the law requires. Card details are never stored by us; payments are processed by our payment gateway.
